Blood Test Results

WOW
My numbers are sooo much better than they ever have been!
Total Cholesterol, LDL and Triglycerides all way down.
Lower than they ever have been and even my husband's numbers are lower than ever so shopping, cooking and eating differently to lower our son's LDL has affected all of us for the better.

Even though our son didn't want to get tested because the doctor keeps trying to push a statin on him, his numbers must be much better because he has been eating even cleaner than us. Before this major change in his life style, he was eating double, even triple, the meat I was. He isn't going to change what he has been doing because he has been actually enjoying his new food choices more than the old ones.

Tuesday and the Best Things in Life

The best things in life just may be free!
Like a walk on the boardwalk near the ocean which comprises much of my movement from now till next winter.
I have spent alot of money to keep me moving but this morning, most of what I used was free thanks to the internet and my new laptop. OK the laptop wasn't free, neither is the internet. BUT anyone reading this probably has a puter with internet access anyways.

First I MUVEd on the bungee to a song from Hairspray *You Can't Stop the Beat* then another song *Suddenly I See*.
Both MUVE routines were great on the bungee thanks to Maggie's love of rooting and bouncing (this gal needs a bungee to fully enjoy her own stuff!).

Then I did some more of Leela's routine, plus some of what I did yesterday:
mostly the second part of Sense
Ground
Mobilize

Finished with the warmup from Gin Miller's (blow up) roller dvd.
Really like the moves and music in this warmup. OK that wasn't free either but I wanted a roller and it was cheap on clearance. The warmup on the dvd was a pleasant surprise.

Though I did feel more energetic today than I have been, do not want to push myself too much in this heat. Will be enjoying ocean breezes while walking soon.

ETA:
here are 3 more Leela clips

MUVE to Nia

OK I did the same thing but to Nia music.

MUVE to Zumba and Bollywood

I trimmed the MUVE radio show that had a Zumba song and a Bollywood song then split the clip again to have each song on a separate clip so each would upload to Blogger. Maggie, the Creator of MUVE had suggested I try her radio shows at MUVE.com because they didn't have the graphics that are added to her dvds. MUVE.com has plenty of clips to keep me MUVING.

Sunday Using www workouts

Still very humid here so kept my workout on the light side. First I warmed up on the bungee with a couple of Bellicon videos:

Then I did a couple of Nia-like dances by Leela:
and there are a couple more which I believe is just about her whole first dvd

Sunday

Even though I slept well last night, the humidity has drained me so I had the perfect *Just Right* workout this morning from the Caribbean Workout Beach Pilates set. First I warmed up on the bungee to *Jig Don't Jog*, mostly at half time. Then I did the Chiball from Beach Pilates and some of the Dance Stretch. Really like both of these! Would call both a Nia and ballet fusion LOL
The rest of the set will probably be ignored but I may try the stability ball Pilates. I should mention that the dvd with the Chiball and Stretch Dance is completely mislabeled so could have easily been missed if an alert VFer hadn't posted about it. I already had a completely different Chiball and Dance Stretch recorded from Fit TV.

If I feel more energetic later after some air conditioning, I may do more of something.

Lipitor savings

Great news!
If you are on Lipitor, you can get a $4 copay card at your doctor's office that will reimburse you up to $50 per month!

Saturday

Alittle sleep deprivation because of a doctor's visit today for our quarterly fasting blood cholesterol tests. Have to deal with the doctor wanting son Marc on a cholesterol lowering drug while Marc prefers to do it the natural way and has greatly cut down on saturated fat while upping his intake of fruits and veggies and exercises religiously. Before he definitely overate meat and about the worse meats. At least his OCD is focused on something logical and healthy and his new way of eating has busted my plateau cuz we are all eating healthier as a result. His numbers weren't all that bad to warrant starting a lifetime medication at the age 26 either.

Anywho, all I did this morning was a warmup on the bungee to a nice Gilad cardio routine from youtube. You can almost imagine the mats below their feet were rebounders! Then I did the second workout from the Elle Beauty Sculpt dvd already having tried the first workout awhile ago on Exercise TV. Both routines are pretty darn good as far as the variety of moves. Just wish the music wasn't as bland.

Planet Motion World Dance Workout Sampler

With alittle help from my son, I became an editing whiz :)
Maybe I can offer my services in exchange for free dvds???
Other bloggers get to try new dvds in exchange for reviews and giveaways.
Why not in exchange for making sample clips of the dvd?

Ok so I learned the hard way that Blogger has a lower limit than Facebook so to see an even longer version of this sampler clip, visit

Planet Motion World Dance Love Affair continues

Finally got to do the rest of the Planet Motion World Dance Workout dvd this morning and again lurved the music, moves and Kendra. Darn electrical inspector didn't come yesterday till 5:45PM! It is official, this dvd is my favorite workout out of over a thousand that I have tried, in spite of it being Kendra's first dvd! It is everything I had hoped that Nia would evolve into and never did because Debbie Rosas just isn't creative enough IMHO. Kendra writes her own music and obviously is very creative in the moves so I am more hopeful than ever that I will have outstanding workouts from her down the road since most in Nia prefer to keep a classroom focus. I, totally, like Kendra's total package including her personality, minimal cuing, and voice. This dvd has made me committed to wasting less time on lukewarm workouts which comprise over half of my vast collection.

Also this morning, I did some of the MUVE radio show that included a Nia guest. I used my laptop so I could do it on my beloved bungee. Though I had no trouble locating the songs/dances, I am going to try to edit the clip to be just the songs/dances.

I have been neglected band workouts for strength so will try to do a spark each afternoon since I do not want to waste my morning energy on them. My plateau is still ended and I am still seeing my numbers going down, slowly but surely thanks to even healthier eating because of my son's effort to lower his LDL in spite of exercising quite a bit less than I used to when trying to bust the plateau.

Kettlebody Giveaway

Huff and Buff has a giveaway for Brook Benten's Kettlebody

A Small taste of Planet Motion World Dance

ok so it is rotten quality done with my webcam but better than no clip at all LOL
Should mention I do not turn but have no trouble keeping in time with the crew.

ETA: I did do the first 5 songs this morning and loved them all. Cannot do the rest as a spark until after the town electrician inspector comes to approve our new heating system. The town Plumbing inspector has already given his seal of approval. Hate this waiting, not knowing what time somebody is going to come!!! Probably would have done a much better job with the clip if I wasn't feeling rushed expecting these inspectors.

HUGE RAVE for PLANET MOTION

I walked 10,000 paces Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and about 2500 this morning.
Came home to find the new Planet Motion World Dance workout waiting for me.

Just popped it in for a quick peek and wound up doing the first 7 minutes and sweating profusely. Cannot wait to attack the whole workout tomorrow morning when I have much more energy. Each song is a separate routine and there is actually a 10 second water break between each.

Kendra has taken Nia to a whole new level.
New moves, new music and plenty of personality.

Saturday

Hmmm, whenever I type in the Title of a New Post, the post is automatically posting??
Don't know if it is me or Blogger LOL

This morning I warmed up on the bungee to some more MUVE clips. MUVE is definitely rebounder friendly. Still not buying their dvds because of the graphics and they aren't exactly cheap even though the graphics cheapen their look IMHO. Will settle for the online clips indefinitely. Then I did the second half of DanceX for Kids which had a couple of songs/routines I liked alot so will keep. DanceX for Kids also seems to work the upper body alot more than most cardio workouts. Finished with the rest of Anita's Strength & Spirit AWT routine. Only did ~ 30 minutes but am still recuperating from that intestinal 24 hour virus I had.

Planet Motion World Dance Fitness

Somebody pinch me so I know I am not dreaming and that there is actually hope that a Nia-like workout with a creative instructor has been born! Well I'll know sometime next week after I get and try Kendra's dvd!

Friday

Definitely had some sort of an intestinal virus yesterday and am feeling much better today. I had downloaded a bunch of MUVE clips and did a few of them on the bungee this morning and may do a few more later. Going light today seems just right since still feeling a bit out of sorts.

Thurs & Son got his UK VISA!

This morning I got the news that our son can stay in the UK for another 3 years and probably will have no trouble staying there indefinitely with renewals. He got in just under the wire because as of 4/5, the UK is not accepting any new applications for a Tier One Visa. Renewals, however, will remain fairly easy to get. So no worries of him being miserable and making us miserable LOL

Anywho, it was obvious I had picked up some sort of intestinal bug so am keeping my intensity down today. Already I have used my new laptop to do some MUVE and a few other clips on the bungee. Still do not like the graphics in MUVE so have decided not to buy any of the dvds. Will continue to take short light intensity muvement breaks throughout the day.

Wednesday Jillian's Ultimate Crosstraining Kit Rave

So I tried something different this morning and will be doing this often! I unplugged my new laptop and brought it near the bungee in the living room and did some clips I had downloaded onto the hard drive without a tv, dvd player or anything electrical. Could have just as easily gone on the web and do the clips from the websites. Anywho, after trying some MUVE clips with the crazy graphics and some without them, I much preferred the MUVE clips without them. The graphics are totally unnecessary and distracting. Can see the moves and follow them much better without the graphics plus the graphics ruined the total effect of the workout for me. Unfortunately, the dvds have the graphics so I have decided not to purchase them for now. It is a shame because they do use great music with an emphasis on fun. Then I went to my workout area in the basement to revisit DanceX for Kids on my YogFlex with Fitstix. It was OK but pathetic in comparison to Kukuwa's Youth dvd IMHO. Of course when I first got DanceX for Kids, I liked it fine but as my collection grows and time to workout shrinks, I have to start re-evaluating workouts. Then I did some TaeBo Amped with my new bar from Jillian's Ultimate Crosstraining kit then tried some of my filler weights with Amped (Fitstix, and homemake XCOs) and liked them more so decided to break up the Jillian bar and try some of Jillian's dvd. I did her kettlebell stuff with my 5lb Kathy Smith KB, her medball stuff without bothering to plug the holes which can be used as handles, and did most of the long bar stuff and really liked it!! The moves with the long bar attached to the 4lb ball really had a unique effect on my core. This kit may become one of my best purchases.

Sunday through Tuesday

I walked over 10,000 paces on Sunday and Monday but took a rest day today. The new car performed brilliantly in the rain. No more AC cancellations because of rain :)
Only problem was our navigation SD card was not being read part of the way home so I believe I may need another card. Think they may have given me an older card by mistake. Will check it out on Thursday.

A new workout routine has been brought to my attention called Muve.
Will decide whether to buy the dvds or not after trying some of their online clips

Saturday

This morning I only did the first mile from the Biggest Loser Power Walk but added alot of intensity with Fitstix and the YogFlex. Wanted to get to Trader Joe's early before the mob and traffic. I swear people are driving and walking dumber and dumber since we got the new car!

Then before lunch I did some TaeBo Amped with my new bar from the Jillian Michaels Ultimate Crosstraining kit on clearance at Target. The bar was perfect :) Each piece of equipment in this set has to be assembled with the short bar piece so I'll be leaving the bar intact awhile and will use the medball's unplugged holes as handles. I did remove the extra 2 pound weight from the center of the ball cuz it felt too heavy for my shoulders to swing around, especially attached to the rope or bar(s) like a sledge hammer.

Haven't decided on my before dinner spark yet.
Maybe some of Jillian's moves with the medball.

Paul Katami Hardball Giveaway

http://lindseylu8.blogspot.com/2011/05/collage-video-giveaway-paul-katamis.html

The Fitness for the Rest of Us blog is having a giveaway of Paul Katami's Hardball dvd, courtesy of Collagevideo.

Thurs and Friday

Since Blogger was more off than working till now, I am posting yesterday's and today's workouts together.

I did alot of mini workouts yesterday, starting with the Jumpsport Cardio then alittle later some of the Jumpsport Strength and some Body Gospel then a walk to the post office then in the afternoon some bouncing in the sun outside on the ReboundAIR and lastly some bouncing while sitting in front of my laptop watching a short dancedancedance workout I had downloaded from youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rfuNK1_ipk

This morning I revisited the Fit TV Caribbean Chiball workout and some of David's slide circuit. I really want to know if the other Caribbean chiball workouts are different from the one I had recorded! I went to Target looking for the Caribbean workouts but found a really neat Jillian medball, kettlebell, weighted bar kit instead on clearance for $12 and what seemed to me really cheap dvdrs (50 for $10)
here is the kit's listing on Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Jillian-Michaels-Ultimate-Cross-Training-Kit/dp/B0045GPQNG

Here is a taste of some chiball I found on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9bHL6Tzm2E
be sure to visit all of the season segments there if you like what you see and hear.

Bought a *Just Right* New Car

We went car shopping yesterday for the first time in over 10 years. I had done alot of research online to determine my top choices based on mileage, safety, and performance. However, before I would ever buy a car, it has to pass the comfort test for sitting in the darn thing, including the seatbelt. I was getting very frustrated as I crossed one top choice off after another because of the new federally regulated headrests that dug into my head. My neck was feeling out of alignment just sitting in the seats, even though these babies were designed to prevent whiplash. So a salesman had me seat in a car without even knowing which car it was and finally, a comfortable seat! To my surprise it was the Nissan Sentra which is rated #31 out 32 of its category! So we took it for a test drive. My husband said it handled really easily for him and I enjoyed the smooth and quiet ride. Then it was my turn even though I have driven only once in the past 5 years. I LOVED IT!!! I had absolutely no trouble with its brakes, turning and acceleration. Smooth as silk. It is actually the perfect size for us too. Almost midsize with decent mileage estimates. We are on our way to becoming a one car family now because this seems like the perfect around town and highway car for us. Even treated ourselves to the higher end package which included a navigation system, keyless entry and ignition, moonroof, etc. because the package was so reasonably priced. So on the outside, we have what most consider a cheap car but on the inside what we would consider a luxury car and I am betting alot more comfortable than some cars at least 50% more expensive. Will be looking forward to our rides to AC, instead of dreadng them.

Tues a checkin in Progress

I wanted to start my daily checkin immediately after doing my bungee warmup which was the Basic workout on the dvd that came with my Jumpsport Fitness Trampoline model 370. It had a very nice warmup then stretch (I skipped the stretch LOL) then a nice cardio segment. Then there was some lower body then upper body then core and a nice stretch at the end. The bungee is used to make all positions more comfortable, especially for me thanks to the petal mat and actually felt more effective. It is very similar to doing the warmup and one segment from Bounce Camp except the cardio is first instead of last. There are three different intensities shown making this *Just Right* for just about everyone. The exercisers are barefooted. Background is just white. Skirt mats are on the bungees.

I will be sharing more about this dvd as I revisit the extended segments as I do each as a part of my bungee warmup in coming days.

Will be adding more of my morning workout details later. If anyone is interested in trying this dvd that came with my bungee, leave a comment with your email address or email me at horsemom2@aol.com

ETA: I did some of Body Gospel Strength and Spirit, still loving this set and then alittle of Hot Hula Advanced and not feeling the love LOL

Monday, May 9, 2011

Monday

This morning I did the third segment of Bounce Camp which had some challenging lower body moves and some of the stretch which was nothing special. After a break I did some of Body Gospel's Strength & Spirit with my homemade XCOs and am still loving this set. Not even sure if I reported my workout yesterday (2nd segment of Bounce Camp and some of Hot Hula Advanced) but updated my Bounce Camp and Hot Hula reviews.

So my best recent purchases have been Body Gospel then Bounce Camp and running far behind Hot Hula. Hot Hula just had too many one sided repetitions and TIFTTing. If the moves had clicked with me, I could have easily modified them to do them on both sides but most of the moves became too tedious to follow so I couldn't fully enjoy the great music. Would have been more satisfied with Bounce Camp if it had more cardio so actually prefer the dvd that came with the 370 bungee Fitness Trampoline but will revisit Bounce Camp.

I meant to put my Urban Rebounder outside but by mistake grabbed the ReboundAIR. Really do not care to keep either so will let Nature take its course and see how the ReboundAIR stands up to rain, etc. This way I can combine my Vitamin D breaks with alittle healthbouncing. Will not do more than healthbouncing because my joints find it jarring.

Getting Back to Sleep Tips

A circular I received in the mail had some good tips for those nights that you wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble falling back asleep which ironically happened to me last night and may be why I placed the ReboundAIR outside instead of the Urban Rebounder!
Even when I fall asleep and sleep well, I sometimes wake up in about 4 hours and know I need at least 6 hours not to feel sleep deprived the rest of the day

Warm your feet
suggests to wrap feet in warm washcloths
(I have just filled the tub with warm water and soaked my feet)

Bore yourself (no tv, no internet)
read a dull book or do a crossword puzzle but nothing stimulating

Clear your nose and throat
flush out nasal passages with a Netipot before bed
and use Breathe Rite strips
(I may try using a nasal spray bottle of saline water
which I use when the heat dries out my nasal passages in AC)

Don't eat

Make white noise (again no tv)

Play a mind and body trick
massage the big toes a minute or two

Make a Switch
reverse your head and feet positions
(this has actually worked for me)

other things I have resorted to is a night-time Tylenol or a SleepyTime tea if it is really way too early to get up

Sunday Happy Mother's Day

Had a late start today sleeping in and waking up to a special bagels, cream cheese and lox with fresh bagels and coffee presented by DH for Mother's Day.

Anywho finally got around to trying the second segment of Bounce Camp and it was *Just Right*.
Each segment can definitely be a perfect daily workout all on its own as long as you add your own stretch. There may be a stretch at the end of the dvd as well. Can always do its warmup too. The instructor does very easy looking moves that are quite deceptively challenging on the bungee. Abs felt effective without aggravating my back. It really does show you what you can do with the bungee in addition to bouncing. Got breathless quite a few times! and am still sweating. Would love to try it with music blasting on the bungee in the living room which I may do later in a day after son wakes up. May even try some of it on the YogFlex with my basement sound system.

May or may not try some Adv Hot Hula in a bit. Am hesitating cuz I had a strange new pain last night in my front left hip that had to be connected with Hot Hula.

Also am planning to put my UR in the garage to use outside since I wear shoes outside and always wanted to try reboundng on our patio in the yard. A few houses down the kids have a trampoline and I see their heads popping up over the fences and hedges every nice day.

ETA: I did do some of Hot Hula Advanced and liked the new moves BUT again am very disappointed of how one-sided the routines are, not working both sides equally. Expected better from somebody who has been so involved in workout dvds and classes.
I did put my UR outside and instead of moving it back to the garage, will just let Nature take its course. Hey, I got it free at a Kohl's clearance with a coupon so no biggie.

Almost forgot! Today is the the one year anniversary of my blog and the 12th anniversary of me doing regular exercise, both of which started on Mother's Day.

Bounce Camp by Jumpsport, a Review in Progress

I only did the warmup, first circuit and alittle of the cardio in the second circuit so will add more details to this review as more of the Jumpsport *Bounce Camp* dvd is done without previews which is the way I prefer to do a new workout. My first impressions made me want to cave immediately and order the other dvd that interested me but will wait till I have finished this one and hear some impressions of the other workout as others on VF report in. Will not be ordering the third because it requires a stability bar.

The setting in a a well lit gym.
The male instructor is very pleasant on the eyes and ears and gives excellent form reminders along the way. There are 2 background female exercisers who show modifcations and all are dressed in workout clothes and sneakers.
The music is loud enough but I couldn't fully get into it because I am bouncing on the Jumpsport bungee in our living room so had to keep the volume lower. Also I have no clue how much I actually did timewise because am using the Play Station2 as my dvd player and do not know all of its intricacies. Was lucky just to be able to put it on and off.

After the warmup, there are 3 circuits, each of which I believe starts with cardio then does strength and finishes with core. All are chaptered so you can do them separately or in any combination. The warmup was a pretty good cardio spark on its own IMHO especially if you really press downwards into the mat. Cardio moves included bouncing, running, bunny bounces forward and back and jumping jacks. Most movement emphasized pushing downwards but with the feet totally flat unlike the UR style that has the weight forward on the balls of the foot.
Non bouncing moves included squats with crescent kicks for lower body while standing on the mat for an extra balance challenge, planks for upper body and side planks for the core. There was also some upper body while kneeling on the bungee. The kneeling, planks and side planks were way more comfortable for me done on the bungee.

I think this dvd will deliver what people had hoped to find in the new URX series without the distractions and unsafe moves. Obviously, the instructor is better acquainted with the bungee and rebounding than most of the instructors in the URX series.

ETA: sorry but really do not have an update yet. It was my intention to do the second segment this morning but I couldn't get the Play Station2 to the point of where I stopped yesterday during segment one's cardio so had to let all of segment one play through while I jogged on the bungee just to see I had only skipped less than a minute yesterday grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Too bad this dvd doesn't have a cardio premix or separate cardio chapters.

ETA: finally got around to trying the second segment of Bounce Camp and it was *Just Right*.
Each segment (lower body, upper body, core and cardio) can definitely be a perfect daily workout each on its own as long as you add your own stretch. There may be a stretch at the end of the dvd as well which I haven't gotten around to yet. Can always do the dvd's warmup too. As in the first segment, the instructor does very easy looking moves that are quite deceptively challenging on the bungee. Abs felt effective without aggravating my back. It really does show you what you can do with the bungee in addition to bouncing. Got breathless quite a few times! and am still sweating. I Don't think the spring rebounders would have the same effects or be as comfortable.

ETA: Just finished the third segment and some of the cooldown stretch.
There were alot of challenging balance moves, including one legged deadlifts while standing on the mat then doing a swimming move that felt very effective. For Triceps I prefer to sit on the bungee and lean back with my hands on the mat behind me and let my triceps lower me and push me back up instead of the more traditional triceps dips done off the frame. The Stretch was pretty routine. However, overall, there is alot more cardio on the dvd that came with the 370 so am hesitant to order the other Jumpsport dvd that interested me because I have enough strength workouts as it is. Will wait for impressions of that dvd from others before caving. Meanwhile, will be revisiting the dvd that came with the 370 and sharing more details about it as I go.

BTW, I did figure out how to fast forward on the Play Station2 along the way :)

Thurs

This morning I warmed up on the bungee then did Kettlenetics Total Body Blast up to the floor part
and finished with Body Gospel Stretch Revival.

Then as luck would have it, both dvd orders arrived afterwards LOL
Jumpsport eBody Bounce looks good but may have more bodyweight strength moves and less cardio than I had hoped.
Music is good and loud and the instructor very likeable.

Hot Hula sounds awesome but is a bit blurry visually.

And I found an unexpected new advantage to the new puter!
Thanks to my new rule of not eating near it,
I definitely reset my setpoint even lower so this is the second break in my neverending plateau in the last month or two.
How low will she go? LOL

My only problem with the laptop is my middle right fingertip is sore from the mouse.

Weds

This morning I warmed up on the bungee then did a brand new dvdr I burned yesterday with the Ellen Zen Sculpt downloaded from youtube
Already had the Fit TV Zen Sculpt on vhs but the music was so much louder this way so really enjoyed it and found it very Fitstix friendly. Then I did the bonus Sculpt & Sweat from Body Gospel but also played the Body Gospel stepping cd for music because this dvd didn't enable music louder. They ran almost an identical length so was a good combination.

Have no clue when to expect either Hot Hula or Bounce Camp or if either was even send yet.

Tuesday

This morning after warming up on the bungee, I revisited Kettlenetics Flow Motion Dance. As remembered, it was mostly a standing Abs routine that started out ho hum because no music during the instructional segments. However, once the routines with the light kettlebell kicked in, it got quite intense quickly.
Then I did another segment from Body Revival (am really loving Body Gospel) and finished with Classical Stretch.

I cancelled my next set of AC reservations so I can stay home and play with the new puter :)

Monday and New Puter!

I am typing this on my new puter (Acer laptop) and loving it!
A few bumps here and there but Marc & I have ironed them all out.
Two heads are always better than one
Only complaint is the sound is very low on the laptop.
Luckily, I do have a spare pair of power speakers from a long gone puter I can plug into the ear phone holes.

Terri, you definitely went way too heavy on Kathy.
The heaviest I have gone is 5lbs.

This morning I warmed up on the bungee then did the Advanced Jenny Craig's 30 minute Walk It Off. Much of the moves were in the other warmups and workouts except for some prancing with speedbags. I alternated between Fitstix and homemade XCOs and used the YogFlex here and there.
Then I did some of Power & Praise but with Richard Simmons bands which seemed to work better than Donna's
Finished with some Classical Stretch (I am doing the third season in Mexico).

Keep moving everyone, even if it is just to the bathroom and back.
OK even to the kitchen and back

ETA: Kept the hat but redid my profile picture using the new laptop's webcam showing my now gray hair

Anniversary Month of May

Not only is today May 1st my 35th wedding anniversary, I started exercising regularly in May 1999 at the age of 50 after discovering TaeBo on Mother's Day. I actually started this blog last May! So May is a triple anniversary month for me :)

Ironically, we had been discussing renaming the VF *Rebounding Plus* checkin and today will be the first day of the new *Just Right * checkin. If anyone wants to share what has kept them moving or perhaps get some suggestions on what may keep them moving, please drop in.

Off to workout soon and hope to add whatever I do onto this post afterwards.

ETA: I just revised the title of this blog to reflect its new focus because my plateau seems to be ending LOL

OK here is the workout combination I did this morning:
I warmed up on the bungee then did the 10 minute walk from Jenny Craig's Advanced Walk It Out which I did like more than the Beginner's in both its music and moves. Then I did 10 minutes of the cardio from Anita Barbero's Strength & Spirit because I wanted to revisit an old favorite today. I used my homemade XCOs instead of dumb bells in both of the above. Then I did 10 minutes of Body Revival just because it is my newest favorite and finished with some Classical Stretch. Liked everything I did but really wish Anita Barbero had produced more workouts because I really like everything about her cardio (AWT) chapter. Wish I had more energy to do some Kukuwa but maybe will have a Kukuwa spark later today
