Nell and Karen Joy

This morning I tried some of the Nell McAndrew's Peak Energy Recharged DVD which was gifted to me by a generous VFer.  At first, I really liked it!  The music was decent and the cuing minimal. Then the whistling started and I was wishing for a different soundtrack.  Once the instructor replaced the cuing with a loud whistle, I felt more like a dog in obedience class than a human being trying to MUve in a workout class. Also the moves were starting to feel too repetitive.  However, I may do my thang with it, removing some of the repetitive parts and replacing the audio.

Next I started to revisit my edited Fitstix Kids routine and lurved it!
Here's alittle sample
It is sad that the Fitstix enterprise has ended because Karen Joy Allen created some wonderful routines besides a joint friendly piece of equipment.

Online Stuff inc OOP

This morning I did a bunch of youtube clips on the bungee and ball, mostly with their original audio.  Here are some of the youtube users I did:
ZumbaSarah

Prof Nelson

BodyLine

I really loved some of the moves and music, especially Sarah's Bollywood Hip Hop:

I have uploaded to my channels on Youtube and DailyMotion the original WalkPlus HeavyHands and some of Fitstix Fusion because both of these dvds are OOP and almost impossible to purchase.

To avoid ads on both youtube and DailyMotion, I recommend adding Adblock to your browser.
You can use any light weights like Zumba sticks, etc.

Pre-Turkey Day

This morning I did the Fitstix Fusion segment to which I had added music (mostly Cher tunes) that was led by the other two instructors and really enjoyed it :)
The gal almost looked like she was singing!
Remember you do not need real Fitstix to enjoy these workouts.
They are very rebounder friendly and you can use any hand weight or none.
However, I do like using Fitstix because they make it more fun and do not aggravate my joints.

Loving Fitstix Fusion

I am really enjoying the Fitstix Fusion routines to which I added music, on and off the bungee.  I now realize the main deterrent to doing these routines was unfortunately the instructor's voice.  It's sad because otherwise, her MUves are very creative and fun.

So this morning I produced a sweat with the 4th Fusion routine.
I am going to try to use Germany blocked stuff just for the bungee and anything I want to do using our HDTV to be Germany acceptable on youtube.  I separated the TaeBoTV playlists into Billy counting and MUsic added then put the German blocked MUsic added ones to the bottom.  Also made a Fitstix Playlist :)

All Fitstix Fusion!

This morning I returned to the Fitstix Fusion workout to which I had added more current music that I did as a spark yesterday and just couldn't stop till I pooped.  It works so well with the bungee and Fitstix though you can substitute any light weight or do it with empty hands too.
Love the MUves
Lurve the MUsic.

and I did this one last night which I Lurved
TBTV April B& with African Drums

I am glad I listened to my own drum and marched to its own beat cuz the combination really clicked for me.

All Youtube

This morning I skipped the bungee and went right to my HDTV to do some youtube stuff.
First I did the first part of Fitstix Fusion

Then I did alittle of the same segment but with different music

and finished with one of Steve Maresca's Exercise TV routines but used a weightless chiball instead of a medball

They were so wonderful that I wonder if I may give up dvds altogether one day.

New Ouch

Woke up with some aches and pains in spite of the third night of Melatonin and a decent night's sleep. My right foot and ankle seemed especially twingy so Arnica Gel to the rescue.  Luckily, GNC offered a decent coupon this month in an email ($10 off $20 purchase)  and sells a huge tube for $10 because I have gone through 3 of those large tubes already.  Now that son is starting to jog more, he needs it for his feet as well.

Anywho, I warmed up on the bungee to the green mile then did some Fitstix Cardio Praise with Body Gospel music which made start thinking about adding my own music choices to more routines.  I did the first part of the combinations on the floor then the whole combination on the bungee.  Actually used my homemade XCOs cuz too lazy to go get my Fitstix from the basement (gee and here I am workingout???). The moves felt more intense on the bungee.  Next I did the warmup and some of the stability ball cardio from Dana Pieper's Total Body Conditioning but used a light smartbell instead.  Went to finish with CS729 which unfortunately triggered a new mid back injury so more Arnica gel and Advil since it felt like a more serious injury than usual.

Wonderful Youtube Clips!

This morning I warmed up with Caitlin on the bungee then did a wonderful XCO routine but used my lighter Fitstix. Had to do some tweaking to work both side more equally. Finished with some CS 708 and 709.
