Bellicon Dance Party, DA FatBlast and Nia Vibe

This morning I did the Bellicon Dance Party (original on youtube) with replaced audio and absolutely lurved it.  Simple moves and great MUsic.  Then I did Denise Austin's Balancing Act Fat Blast (original on youtube) which I had trimmed while replacing the audio.  I liked it so much I am re-editing to have my favorite Kettlebell-like moves repeated more.  Finished with my favorite songs from Nia's Vibe while bounce-sitting on a stability ball.  The dvd is worth getting for the BodyRock routine alone!

Filemail and Download Tips

ETA: to use filemail now, you must be registered and are limited to 10 free transfers so I have lost interest in this option.

Filemail (www.filemail.com) used to be a wonderful way of sharing files when I had an upgraded account but very limited for free accounts.  However, I think filemail.com now allows more days, downloads, and larger files than they used to on free accounts.

I will download a video file myself so I can provide a walk-thru:
You can click on the link for the file you want to download below its thumbnail and download just that file or you can click on *Download all the files* (colored Green) to get a ZIP file which is a nice option if a filemail has more than one file attached.  The file will go to whatever folder your browser downloads files to (usually called Downloads).  You can then move the file by copying (or cutting and pasting) by right clicking the mouse on a Windows system  to wherever you want it to be on your hard drive, etc.

ETA:
Just found out you can download some video files directly from Vimeo.
Just right click on the blue Download button to choose your format.

This morning I did the HeavyHands Panaerobics to which I had added MUsic which I will embed again. Remember after the initial ad and the video starts playing,  to click the Daily Motion in the lower right corner to play without ads.  Use that url to revisit or to download.

Also did the Senam routine to which I had added MUsic.

Carol, Richard and Michelle

This morning I did the dance part of the Carol Argo Anti-Aging Method.
It had a nice hip opener without putting weight on my knees.

Then I did the rest of Richard Simmons' Sweatin to the Oldies 5 on the bungee with Fitstix.

Then I did the Michelle Dozois' Lower Body routine from the WeightWatchers Next Move set to which I had added Irish MUsic

I just downloaded the Buti workouts from vimeo.com

HH Panaerobics and Ramp

This morning while trying to record the HeavyHands Panaerobics vhs in yet another way, I did some of it as a warmup.  Actually prefer the way I did song 2 on another post (October 5th)
http://neverendingplateau.blogspot.com/2012/10/heavyhands-panaerobics.html

ETA: Since then, I have redone the whole HeavyHands Panaerobics with my webcam off an HDTV.

Also I did some of Gin Miller's Cardio Challenge Ramp workout.
Her Ramp workouts can be a great alternative to walking or even rebounding.

Filemail

When I post a filemail link to videos, that link can be shared with friends. Sometimes I send the filemail link directly to a person or even everyone in my filemail address book. These links can also be shared privately with other people who may like them.
Even if somebody already has the video, they may want it on their hard drive or may want to put it on another device.

There are other uses for filemail besides sharing videos. For example my old pc has a floppy drive but new laptop doesn't. I can filemail a program that is on a floppy drive from my old pc so I can download it on to my laptop.
filemail can be sent from anyone at
www.filemail.com
For occasional users, there is a 2gig, 30 downloads and 3 day limit.
Since I have mentioned filemail.com on my blog, I was upgraded for free for one year to 10 gigs, 100 downloads (actually 200 if I use more than 2 files to create a zip file option) and 30 days. I will really miss this upgrade when the free period is over!

Anywho this morning I warmed up with Caitlin on the bungee. Her videos are really good because of the music and simple moves to follow. Then I did some XCO workouts I found on youtube but used my Fitstix. Really enjoyed that and sweated! Then I did the standing Pilates routine by Denise Austin which I found on youtube. Very nice routine similar to Ellen Barrett stuff. My hip/knee thing did start to twinge but a front flexor stretch nipped it in the bud.

Barefoot Dancer Filemail

I am in the process of uploading the Barefoot Dancer TV episodes to filemail again for those who missed the previous filemail of them. Come back to this post for the link which I will post below.
Fastest way to download all of the of the files is to choose the zip file.
Again, the easiest and fastest way to burn dvdrs of the files on a pc is with Freemake Video Converter which is available free at www.freemake.com
(mac users may have to use another software)
For more tips, check the labels for Barefoot Dancer, filemail, filemail links, Freemake Video Converter and Freemake Video Converter tips.

After taking over 3 hours to upload, here's the filemail link for the Barefoot Dancer TV episodes:
https://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=AGXZQRPWYOHRHKN
Luckily downloading is much faster than uploading!

Happy Mother's Day and online workouts

Mother's Day to me is mostly significant because exercise helped me through a miserable depression after seeing a TaeBo infomercial on Mother's Day 13 years ago. Exercise has helped me shift my focus from being a Mother to taking care of myself.

If anyone is interested in any of the online workouts I have been using and would like a filemail.com link to any of them, send a request to horsemom2@aol.com
You can even try sending occassional filemails up to 2 gigs for free with filemail. Filemail has given me a free premium account for mentioning them on my blog and I love to share.
Again if you have a pc and not a mac, Freemake Video Converter makes burning dvdrs a breeze, available at www.freemake.com
It also downloads youtube clips, converts from and to all formats (even vts files on a dvd) and can be used as a media player and editor.
I found filemail.com and Freemake Video converter looking for easy and free ways to share and both providers have been wonderful.
If anyone comes across youtube or vimeo workouts worth sharing, please let me know!!!

ETA:
This morning I warmed up with Bollywood type dance on the bungee then tried a bunch of new workouts: Gilad's Max Abs, Cardio Karate Cardio circuits and some of sequence 2 from Liquid Grooves. Really liked all of the above. If Max Abs had better music, it would easily be the only medball workout I would do. Lurve the slow powerful movements in Cardio Circuits which has a different feel than any other workout. Surprisingly, the TIFTT (Taking It From The Top) doesn't bother me at all in Liquid Grooves. The Bollywood Dance youtube clips were great on the bungee!! I had fused two different instructors. Here's the MP4 filemail link still active till 5/22:

Here's the wmv link available till 5/28:

MP4 may be preferred on macs
wmv may be preferred on windows pcs

Danskinetics on Filemail

Here it is! Fresh off the presses
https://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=CXDGXGVWZIZVAKA

All files would fit nicely on a single dvdr using Freemake Video Converter.
Enjoy :)

This link has since expired.
Sorry if you missed the party.

still loving Barefoot Dancer, filemail and Freemake Video Converter

This morning I warmed up on the bungee to Core Rhythms then did Barefoot Dancer's Dance 16 with a Magician theme which was absolutely wonderful. I Cooled down with just the warmup from Sole Synthesis Take 2 which was pretty demanding for just a warmup!

If I had to choose just one workout style from my whole collection to do everyday, it would be the Barefoot Dancer's because they have everything: cardio, flexibility, and strength, all done with a variety of feel good moves to awesome music. Sarina supposedly taped 65 episodes over 15 days, 21 of which I am offering as a free download through filemail.com. Most have been trimmed down to about 20 minutes each. Nine other episodes are still available retail through Amazon on her Yoga Dance Earth, Fire and Water dvds. If there were a workout Hall of Fame champion, she definitely deserves the top honors.

Also there are zip files available for a single download at
https://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=ZABGIFXMZHHKNPM
Sorry but this link has expired.

Although it takes me almost 5 hours to upload these, they do download much faster. Please do not start a zip download unless you have the hour or so needed to complete the download while connected to the internet. I have seen a few people downloading several zip files probably because they do not realize you only need to click on the zip file once then wait till the download is done. The downloaded files will be found wherever your device or browser stores downloaded files. They can be opened/played there, or cut&pasted to wherever you prefer and stored in whatever new folder you create. For burning to dvdr, I highly recommend the Freemake Video Converter available at www.Freemake.com for its ease and speed. If you download the Freemake Video Converter, you can customize the download to avoid their toolbar. Seven episodes (140 minutes) will fit nicely onto a single dvdr.

If your device doesn't have a player for wmv files, Freemake Video Converter can be used to play and/or convert them. You can also download the very flexible VLC media player. For more info, click on the label for Freemake Video Converter.

Another Barefoot Dancer Download link

Since all of the zip files of The Barefoot Dancer episodes have been downloaded, I uploaded another filemail at
http://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=ZABGIFXMZHHKNPM
this link has expired
There are 21 episodes which can be burned onto 3 dvdrs if desired.

More on the Barefoot Dancer Download

I was just checking the themes of the clips and found two videos were identical: Dance 1 and Dance 18. This may be a good thing since Dance 1 has been downloaded alot and folks who may be too late to get it can download Dance 18 instead.

Here are the themes:
Dance 1 Magician (same exact workout as Dance 18)
Dance 2 Winter
Dance 3 through 7 are Warrior
Dance 8 through 13 are Mother (note 11 was a repeat and removed)
Dance 14 through 18 are Magician (18 = Dance 1)
Dance 19 Express
Dance 20 through 23 Child
Dance 24 Water (I still have to check my Water dvd to see if this is on it)

hope that helps in deciding which files to download.
Themes do overlap in their movements a bit.

ETA: I found Dance 24 was on the Yoga Dance Water dvd so deleted the file from the download list. Also was able to edit my description of the download to explain the deletion of Dance 24 as well as suggesting Dance 18 when the identical Dance 1 file becomes depleted.

The good news is that there are now 21 different files so you can burn 3 dvdrs with 7 episodes on each, leaving out the Dance 1 or Dance 18 episode duplication.
If you do want to burn dvdrs of the episodes, I recommend Freemake Video Converter for its speed and simplicity.

Another use for filemail.com!

I found a video on my old puter that I wanted to copy onto my new laptop. Yes, I could have copied it onto a blank cd or tried to use FIOS media manager or maybe a Windows network option even though our network software was already corrupted on our old puter but figured to use filemail.com which was alot easier. As long as I was doing the transfer through filemail, I was able to share the video with a few friends which was a nice extra bonus.

So I tested using filemail.com on my over 10 year old puter with Windows XP and found thanks to our FIOS internet, I could download video files, upload video files and play them on our ancient puter. NICE :)

Barefoot Dancer Filemail Download

I did feel alittle better this morning and already have done 2 sparks. First was some Core Rhythms while standing on the bungee. The Second was the rest of Tuttle's Spicy Latin Workout which I had started yesterday. I really love the music only option in Tuttle's workouts because she is quite creative in the moves and offers darn good music but her voice can be annoying. Plus, the moves and music work very well with Fitstix.

Because I have blogged about filemail.com, they offered me a free one year Premium membership which means I can upload larger files, allow more file downloads, and keep the files available for more days. To celebrate and to test the Premium account, I am uploading some of the Barefoot Dancer TV routines.
Each can be downloaded individually or all of them in a single zip file. As far as I know, these workouts just aren't available anywhere to purchase and are not on the 3 Yoga Dance dvds released several years ago, except one with a Water theme may have been on the Water dvd with two other Water focused workouts. How I wish I could acquire the other 30 or more episodes but unless there is somebody in Canada who had recorded them over the years, there really is no other source.

Here is the link for the Barefoot Dancer file downloads good till4/1.
https://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=ZABGIFXMZHHKNPM
this link has expired

Feel free to share this link with others who may enjoy these workouts.
A couple of episodes have alittle pixilation but otherwise decent quality.

Filemail links

Note that some of the Barefoot Dancer filemail links a couple of posts back are still active! Grab them while you can.

I woke up feeling sooo much better this morning that I am on my way to workingout already at 6am, right after I post this filemail alert. If there had been more interest in these links, I would have offered more of them but guess not.

ETA: I did the rest of the Exercell Beginners rebounding workout then some online Smartbell routines that were pretty darn good! These routines could have been done with a light kettlebell or medball since not too many people bought a Smartbell. Finished with some Buff Bones, liking the standing impact stuff alot.

Freemake Video Converter and Filemail

I have to give a shout-out for one of the best video converting and editing software programs I have recently tried:
Freemake Video Converter

It is so much easier and faster to use than other free programs and seems to do more than some expensive programs.

Only problem is be careful when downloading and installing to avoid accepting the toolbar and other stuff you probably do not want.
I even skipped the plugin options for Chrome and Firefox which I later included when upgrading.
They have *how to* video tutorials online to demonstrate what to do by clicking on help

Just go directly to www.freemake.com to download the Freemake Video Converter.

Getting a new laptop has opened a whole world of free workouts online for me. Also I like to edit some of my workout dvds and online clips to make them function better for me, skipping moves I do not do (like burpees) and chaptering what I do like to do into accessible sparks.

Have to give another shout-out to filemail.com which enables friends with similar workout preferences to share our creations.

ETA: Freemake Video Converter is beyond amazing
I just burned 6 large MP4 files to a dvdr in less than one hour, a task that took almost 4 hours on DVDFlick and ended badly. I now know if I want sound when using a Play Station2 as a dvd player to switch the burn sound setting to MP2. The sound setting drop down menu is next to the dvd region drop down menu (PAL OR NTSC choice).

Filemail.com

I just have to rave about www.filemail.com

It enables people to upload a file as large as two gigs and send a link to the file to download in an email to whomever the sender chooses. The download link is good for 3 days before it is removed. This is much easier than facebook or blogger for sharing videos!
Much better than breaking a too large file into smaller ones to share in an email.

LOVE it!!!
