Daily Motion Download Update

The Mozilla Firefox browser has recently updated their Download Helper so it can download Daily Motion videos again!  They fixed the bug :)

It is much faster than using a download site like
savefrom.net

ETA:  I found an old pair of Crosstrainers that are more comfortable without inserts than any of my other shoes with inserts!  This morning I revisited  Dana Pieper's warmup, punching with weights and stability ball routines which I chaptered from her two dvds.  Her warmups are great on the bungee, her punching with weights great with Fitstix and her stability ball which is used like a medball great with a purple Zumba stick.  Finished with some Classical Stretch (930).

I am starting to upload some of the Barefoot Dancer episodes to DailyMotion.
Ironically, they are age restricted because of the title even though Sarina Condello mostly works with children!
Here's the first

The rest can be viewed on my DailyMotion channel

ETA:
Just wanted to mention that I am now preferring Handbrake to Freemake Video Converter for ripping chapters from dvds.  Freemake used to be much faster but lately, Handbrake is faster!  Handbrake is just as easy to use and easier to download.

Fabulous Workout!

I wish I could bottle how I felt when doing these workouts this morning and drink from that bottle as needed.

First I bounced on the bungee while holding Fitstix, sometimes switching to a band, with the Debbie Rocker Upper Body Walk to which I had added music

then I did the Winter episode of the Barefoot Dancer which felt completely new to me:

Barefoot Dancer Filemail

I am in the process of uploading the Barefoot Dancer TV episodes to filemail again for those who missed the previous filemail of them. Come back to this post for the link which I will post below.
Fastest way to download all of the of the files is to choose the zip file.
Again, the easiest and fastest way to burn dvdrs of the files on a pc is with Freemake Video Converter which is available free at www.freemake.com
(mac users may have to use another software)
For more tips, check the labels for Barefoot Dancer, filemail, filemail links, Freemake Video Converter and Freemake Video Converter tips.

After taking over 3 hours to upload, here's the filemail link for the Barefoot Dancer TV episodes:
https://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=AGXZQRPWYOHRHKN
Luckily downloading is much faster than uploading!

New toy combos!

This morning I tried a bunch of new moves with old toys and loved everything!

Warmup was routine following some Billy Blanks, Jr dance on the bungee but then I did some Zenkahuna kettlebell and Indian club routines also downloaded from youtube. Only used a 5 lb kettlebell which worked up a sweat and used homemade XCO trainers for the Indian Clubs. Want to try Indian Clubs again with my sliding filler Walmart bubble swords and Fitstix. Loved how these moves opened up my whole upper body, even better than a massage. It was good I stayed in our high ceiling living room near the bungee for Zenkahuna. Have a bunch of his stuff to try with the Jillian Michaels club I got awhile ago too.
Then I did Mindy Mylrea's All About Legs bonus which uses Gliding Disks. Never did this before because I got the Gliding Disks long after the dvd. Loved this routine! Even the music was special and best of all my right knee liked it. Also want to revisit the medball routine on this dvd.
Finished the workout with a great Barefoot Dancer routine (currently #21). Too bad it pixilated in the last few minutes but the first 3/4 was fabulous.

Here is a peek at #21:

Just a reminder the download through filemail ends for these on 4/1

Barefoot Dancer Label

If you want to see clips of the Barefoot Dancer that had been uploaded to this blog, click on the Barefoot Dancer label for older posts that were labeled. Just scroll down to see if her style appeals to you before downloading any episodes from filemail.com.

I am working on uploading clips to this blog and full chapters to filemail for another out-of-print series called Danskinetics. Will try to remember to label these posts accordingly.

more Barefoot Dancer

This morning my warmup was cutting up a pineapple LOL
99 cents at Aldi this week.
I had done a MUVE spark on the bungee yesterday afternoon and may do the same this afternoon.

Then I did Barefoot Dancer #20 and found the cardio chapter was absolutely delightful.
Then I did the standing routine from Lee Holden's QiGong for the Upper back and neck cuz my right lat is still twinging.

If you haven't tried the Barefoot Dancer episodes I had uploaded to filemail.com, you may be missing out because the filemail links expire at the end of the month and will not be uploaded again unless I receive many requests to do so.
I have been considering uploading some other workouts to filemail because they are out-of-print and absolutely impossible to find to buy so keep your eyes opened if a follower of my blog. I am able to share these videos thanks to a free one year premium account gifted by filemail.com because of mentioning the service on my blog. I am hoping by showing alot of downloads that filemail.com will extend my free premium offer because it is great advertising for them. Occasional users can still use their site for free to share files up to 2 gigs for 3 days.

Also I received a nice message thanking me for sharing information about Freemake Video Converter from another VFer who finally was able to burn her downloads onto a dvdr with it. It is quite amazing to see what the Freemake Video Converter can do, much easier and faster than software programs that have to be eventually purchased after a trial period. Unlike filemail.com, I do not receive anything from Freemake for mentioning them but hope Freemake will continue to develop its wonderful free software as demand for their software grows and they find ways of getting increased funding as the demand increases. Freemake Video Converter wasn't even available till December 2011 so alot of people never heard of it and many hesitate to even try it if they already found other ways to get videos downloaded, trimmed, converted and burned. Others are just afraid cuz usually, when something sounds too good to be true, there is usually a catch. To download free software, there are often many obstacles in finding the right download link, some limitations for the free product, and sometimes, only free trial periods for the expanded product. Freemake is in a class of its own. True you may download other things you could have avoided like their toolbar but you will get the wonderful software to use forever.

still loving Barefoot Dancer, filemail and Freemake Video Converter

This morning I warmed up on the bungee to Core Rhythms then did Barefoot Dancer's Dance 16 with a Magician theme which was absolutely wonderful. I Cooled down with just the warmup from Sole Synthesis Take 2 which was pretty demanding for just a warmup!

If I had to choose just one workout style from my whole collection to do everyday, it would be the Barefoot Dancer's because they have everything: cardio, flexibility, and strength, all done with a variety of feel good moves to awesome music. Sarina supposedly taped 65 episodes over 15 days, 21 of which I am offering as a free download through filemail.com. Most have been trimmed down to about 20 minutes each. Nine other episodes are still available retail through Amazon on her Yoga Dance Earth, Fire and Water dvds. If there were a workout Hall of Fame champion, she definitely deserves the top honors.

Also there are zip files available for a single download at
https://www.filemail.com/dl.aspx?id=ZABGIFXMZHHKNPM
Sorry but this link has expired.

Although it takes me almost 5 hours to upload these, they do download much faster. Please do not start a zip download unless you have the hour or so needed to complete the download while connected to the internet. I have seen a few people downloading several zip files probably because they do not realize you only need to click on the zip file once then wait till the download is done. The downloaded files will be found wherever your device or browser stores downloaded files. They can be opened/played there, or cut&pasted to wherever you prefer and stored in whatever new folder you create. For burning to dvdr, I highly recommend the Freemake Video Converter available at www.Freemake.com for its ease and speed. If you download the Freemake Video Converter, you can customize the download to avoid their toolbar. Seven episodes (140 minutes) will fit nicely onto a single dvdr.

If your device doesn't have a player for wmv files, Freemake Video Converter can be used to play and/or convert them. You can also download the very flexible VLC media player. For more info, click on the label for Freemake Video Converter.

More on the Barefoot Dancer Download

I was just checking the themes of the clips and found two videos were identical: Dance 1 and Dance 18. This may be a good thing since Dance 1 has been downloaded alot and folks who may be too late to get it can download Dance 18 instead.

Here are the themes:
Dance 1 Magician (same exact workout as Dance 18)
Dance 2 Winter
Dance 3 through 7 are Warrior
Dance 8 through 13 are Mother (note 11 was a repeat and removed)
Dance 14 through 18 are Magician (18 = Dance 1)
Dance 19 Express
Dance 20 through 23 Child
Dance 24 Water (I still have to check my Water dvd to see if this is on it)

hope that helps in deciding which files to download.
Themes do overlap in their movements a bit.

ETA: I found Dance 24 was on the Yoga Dance Water dvd so deleted the file from the download list. Also was able to edit my description of the download to explain the deletion of Dance 24 as well as suggesting Dance 18 when the identical Dance 1 file becomes depleted.

The good news is that there are now 21 different files so you can burn 3 dvdrs with 7 episodes on each, leaving out the Dance 1 or Dance 18 episode duplication.
If you do want to burn dvdrs of the episodes, I recommend Freemake Video Converter for its speed and simplicity.

Barefoot Dancer Filemail Download

This morning I did what was #14 of the Barefoot Dancer download which had a Magician theme and some nice moves. There was alittle pixilation right before the break that precedes the stretch. The stretch ended with a sinus massage which I greatly needed since still recovering from the nasty cold.

Barefoot Dancer Filemail Download

I did feel alittle better this morning and already have done 2 sparks. First was some Core Rhythms while standing on the bungee. The Second was the rest of Tuttle's Spicy Latin Workout which I had started yesterday. I really love the music only option in Tuttle's workouts because she is quite creative in the moves and offers darn good music but her voice can be annoying. Plus, the moves and music work very well with Fitstix.

Because I have blogged about filemail.com, they offered me a free one year Premium membership which means I can upload larger files, allow more file downloads, and keep the files available for more days. To celebrate and to test the Premium account, I am uploading some of the Barefoot Dancer TV routines.
Each can be downloaded individually or all of them in a single zip file. As far as I know, these workouts just aren't available anywhere to purchase and are not on the 3 Yoga Dance dvds released several years ago, except one with a Water theme may have been on the Water dvd with two other Water focused workouts. How I wish I could acquire the other 30 or more episodes but unless there is somebody in Canada who had recorded them over the years, there really is no other source.

Here is the link for the Barefoot Dancer file downloads good till4/1.

this link has expired

Feel free to share this link with others who may enjoy these workouts.
A couple of episodes have alittle pixilation but otherwise decent quality.

Loving Barefoot Dancer

Past two days, all I have done is about 15 minutes on the bungee to Bellicon online workouts. This morning after two stressful days thanks to Verizon's lack of communication and information about activating our HD set top box, I finally got a decent workout.

I warmed up with more Bellicon online workouts and did some kickboxing while holding light homemade XCO trainers then did half of Your Best Body Circuit and finished with a Barefoot Dancer. The whole time I was doing the Barefoot Dancer, I was smiling.

ETA: It is so reaffirming to see the judicial and legislature of states being in support of marriage equality. Cannot leave this civil right in the hands of people who cannot separate their personal religious beliefs from equal civil rights for all.

more Barefoot Dancer and some Buff Bones

This morning I did a Barefoot Dancer episode then some of Buff Bones which is mostly Pilates but done in a way to help and not harm the bones then finished with another episode of the Barefoot Dancer.
It is so unfair that none of our PBS stations broadcasted Barefoot Dancer!! Too bad, Sarina didn't release more on dvd. According to what I read online, Sarina did 65 episodes in 15 days! It was so innovative, much like Nia but even better IMHO. Almost everyone flipped over the new Misty Tripoli series but Barefoot Dancer is more creative and has fantastic music. I caught a date of 2002 at the end of an episode. I was only 2 years into workingout then and only with vhs. Why oh why can't these be broadcasted again today if not released on dvd? It would have a whole new generation of fans.

Oh well, at least my timing was perfect for the TaeBo Lives and TaeBo Pay Per Views.

The two Barefoot Dancer routines I did today had some similar themes and moves but here are clips from both

Barefoot Dancer TV Show

As far as I know, Sarina Condello's Barefoot Dancer TV show was never available in my area. I did, however, buy the retail released triple dvd Yoga Dance set which I loved. Recently, another exercise fan who knew my workout preferences offered to share some of the old TV episodes she had recorded. I searched online and couldn't find any way to see these 65 episodes either online or on tv or purchased. If anyone finds a way, please let me know.

Well, I did the first two episodes this morning and was blown away by them. The music is incredible and the moves absolutely wonderful. These two episodes had it all warmup, strength, cardio, cooldown/stretch, even a hand massage. Some was similar to Classical Stretch, some similar to Nia, some similar to Misty Tripoli but all had intoxicating music and a huge variety of feel good moves.
I am in the process of uploading the cardio from the first episode and will also try to upload the cardio from the second episode as well. The cardio in the second episode was althletic cardio done barefooted! Most moves worked fine on the bungee with minimal tweaking but worked well without a rebounder as well as long as the bounce was kept light or just rising onto the toes without a bounce at all. Inbetween the 2 episodes, I did the last 3 blocks from PeakFit10 Cardio Strength. I may have sweated more doing Barefoot Dancer!

Here is the cardio from the first episode:

Here is the cardio from the second episode:
