Quick Downloading Tips

I download videos to play them with less freezing.
There are several video downloading extensions available for free on browsers.

To find extensions for Chrome,
go to
chrome://extensions/

I usually use the Flash Video Downloader extension on Chrome except for youtube.
Video Download Helper sometimes works on Chrome but the free file may be watermarked.
I download from youtube using Opera or Firefox

Both Flash Video Downloader and SaveFrom.net Helper extensions still work on Opera

FVD works well on Firefox and Video Download Helper for youtube
SaveFrom.net Helper is also available for Firefox

(Sometimes the downloaded MP4 file will not work on Windows Media Player but will play on VLC.
Remember you can rename the file if desired)
