Kukuwa Fitness

I just started the free trial for Kukuwa Fitness streaming
https://kukuwafitness.vhx.tv/browse

and love what I am seeing and hearing!!
Lots of outside routines with Afro-Caribbean music.

Most routines are around 20 minutes with simple to follow (and fun) moves.

It is pricier than WOW but a good change of pace.
Both subscriptions use the vhx platform (and app).

ETA:
After two morning workouts, I have to say these may be even better than WOW
They are a party in a box!
I may alternate subs and actually pause both randomly to do other stuff

To Sub or not to Sub

To Sub or not to Sub,
that is the question especially with current Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers.

My favorite workout subscription is still WalkingOnlineWorkouts.
https://walkingonlineworkouts.vhx.tv/browse
No other subscription comes close in the music.
The beautiful scenery and easy to follow moves are great too.
I, literally, have to skip a month here and there just so I would do other routines.
WOW walks rival the files I have edited.
I can easily tweak them on a bungee or chair.

My first year of NiaTV is ending and they raised their prices so I have lost interest.
In the beginning, I enjoyed all of the content but as the months went by, there just was not enough new content added to keep me a regular visitor.
Why pay more  for less?

I doubt I will renew the Healthy U TV Gold or BollyX subscriptions next spring.
Neither has enough new content to interest me.

If I did not have all of the Leslie Sansone Walk at Home routines I already have.
her Daily Walk is a great deal and her All Access Pass is very reasonable.

Warning:
BellyFit TV has not delivered their new season 2 episodes once a week as promised

Health Bouncing and Neuropathy

I have found gentle healthbouncing to music to be my best way of staying mobile and reducing stress and pain.
Healthbouncing is bouncing on the mat without going airborne.
Note: I never liked the jarring pounding into the mat type of bouncing which can damage nerves.

from http://kitchen-doctor.blogspot.com/2008/07/neuropathy.html
Physical Activity (Neuropathy)
Physical Activity helps cleansing, it brings balance and relieves stress. Psycho-physical activities will help you balance your body and will help you relief accumulated stress. You will have to find a form of exercise that suit you. I will just give you a few examples:
Mini Trampoline jumping - rebounding!

From https://cellercise-wp-beta.inclaninteractive.com/diabetes/how-to-use-rebounding-to-control-your-diabetes/
Rebounding and Neuropathy

The best way to treat neuropathy is to keep nerve damage from occurring in the first place. Patients who start an exercise program as soon as they are diagnosed and maintain a healthy body weight and blood sugar can protect themselves. However, if you already have neuropathy pain, rebounding can help manage the symptoms.

If your hands and feet hurt because of diabetic neuropathy, the last thing you want to do is exercise, but it does ease symptoms. A Journal of Diabetes Complications study followed people with peripheral neuropathy for four years. When they exercised four times a week, it slowed their nerve damage.

Experts recommend low-impact exercise for people with painful neuropathy or loss of sensation. Rebounding is an activity that doesn’t expose feet to risk of coming into contact with sharp objects. Since it doesn’t put stress on the legs and feet, it is often well tolerated by people with peripheral neuropathy pain.

Diabetic neuropathies often cause instability. Bouncing stimulates the middle ear vestibule responsible for balance, helping people be more aware of body positioning to improve stability.

from
https://www.diabetesdaily.com/forum/exercise/39899-mini-trampoline-rebounder/
Arthritis
Extensive tests have been done and have shown that this exercise is helpful in treating patients with osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. The relief felt by arthritis patients can often be dramatic. Those who suffer from arthritis though must not overdo it but must only bounce gently for a few minutes 2 or 3 times a day. Bouncing can take the place of jogging but still give the same benefits. This exercise will prevent excess calcium loss from the spine and other major bones and so can bring about dramatic improvement in arthitis sufferers.

Malwarebytes

I have been using Malwarebytes for years and the most recent version has the Premium trial which I hate because it slows down my laptop.
My son helped me stop the 4 premium protections and stop the program from starting with Windows on the Walwarebytes settings.

I read that there was a  malwarebtes program specific for adware so gave it a try

https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

It downloaded quickly and scanned in seconds and found 79 threats missed by the over 30 minute Malwarebytes scan!

Quick Downloading Tips

I download videos to play them with less freezing.
There are several video downloading extensions available for free on browsers.

To find extensions for Chrome,
go to
chrome://extensions/

I usually use the Flash Video Downloader extension on Chrome except for youtube.
Video Download Helper sometimes works on Chrome but the free file may be watermarked.
I download from youtube using Opera or Firefox

Both Flash Video Downloader and SaveFrom.net Helper extensions still work on Opera
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/savefromnet-helper/

FVD works well on Firefox and Video Download Helper for youtube
SaveFrom.net Helper is also available for Firefox

(Sometimes the downloaded MP4 file will not work on Windows Media Player but will play on VLC.
Remember you can rename the file if desired)

Try Handbrake if you want to rip files from a dvd:

WOW

I am resubbed to WalkingOnlineWorkouts (WOW) and loving the music and moves.
The Country music in *Cornfield Country* just made me smile throughout.
Love the Lindsey Stirling bonus segment that starts with music from Phantom of the Opera around the 27 minute mark in the *More Lindsey Stirling* video.

If you have not yet visited this workout site, try the free trial!
https://walkingonlineworkouts.vhx.tv/browse

No workout has ever made me want to move as much.
I have to force myself to do other workouts by pausing my subscription but am a very happy camper once I restart the subscription.

Because of WOW's great music, I am editing other workouts less and burning fewer dvdrs of edits.

Walk 15 and Jaime Brenkus Rock the Walk

I am in the middle of a one month subscription to Leslie Sansone's All Access Pass which includes her whole Walk at Home library (her newest releases like the 15 mile Walk 15 as well as some rare older workouts and the Daily Walk subscription) for ~$9 a month.

The Daily Walk alone costs ~$5 after a one month free trial which stays active for a whole month even if immediately cancelled.

The first workout on the new September calendar for the Daily Walk was the 5 mile Walk 15 which starts with my favorite Walk 15 mile including the three female leaders (Nadyia, Kamilah, and Rocky).

The Daily Walk has both a monthly calendar and a daily calendar viewing option.  The routines can be streamed directly from the website or using a downloaded free app.  You have access to any of the Daily routines for that specific month and some of the next month depending on the date you subscribe.  I highly recommend trying the Daily Walk by subscribing more towards the middle of September so you can also try some October workouts, even if you immediately cancel your free trial.  It is worth the bother just to try the 5 mile Walk 15.  Later in September is the 2 mile Walk 15 and there may be others added in October.   Last month, the new 4 mile Walk 15 was available.

https://yourdailywalk.com

I actually stayed subscribed to the Daily Walk, on and off, after trying my monthly free trial and did the All Access to see the new 5 mile Walk 15 which was not offered previously to September as well as a few older walks I had missed.

If you subscribe to the All Access Pass, try the Weightloss Bootcamp!
(This routine is on the September calendar if you try the free trial or want the cheaper subscription starting during September)

ETA:
https://shop.myevergreenwellness.com/
You can try 4 Jaime  Brenkus freebies by giving your email address

I really like the Rock the Walk ABS sample BUT there are 4 sets of forward crunches and only one set of the high-low twist on just one side so this sample was not well choreographed for working sides equally and variety.  Also the Evergreen customer service does not seem responsive so buying a streaming video series may not be a permanent purchase.  The dvds ordered from Amazon for his other series were not pressed so have a short shelf life and are overpriced at $20 each.

Finally heard from their customer service and Jaime Brenkus who seemed a bit clueless about working both sides equally.  His excuse for half of the moves being boring front crunches was to make the waist slimmer and tighter which is not my goal for moving at the age of 69.
(passing on this unprofessional purchase).

ETA:
Today was my last visit to the Leslie Sansone Walk at Home Digital library because my All Access Pass ends tomorrow.   I enjoyed the month in spite of doing most routines with their original audio and found 3 miles a day perfect for my morning routine, usually bouncing for two miles then sitting for the third mile.  I did lose about 2 pounds during this month but had also cut back on carbs and tried to fast 14 to 16 hours overnight.  Tomorrow I plan to visit other subs and digital purchases before resubbing to WalkingOnlineWorkouts.

August Update

Good news is I am finally starting to lose weight slowly.

Bad news is my neuropathy is the same as it was over a year ago before starting treatments in June 2017 which I stopped in March 2018.    I had lost weight quickly during the first 5 months of the treatment but had been plateaued for 10 months.  The weight loss reversed my direction towards metabolic disease but did little for cramping and pain.

WalkingOnline Workouts remains my favorite source of exercise but I am pausing to do more Leslie Sansone during an all access pass for a month.  I still bounce-walk on a bungee for most cardio and try to walk outside after most meals or do a low intensity spark inside.

I am resisting buying or streaming new routines till I revisit older stuff I did once.
Because of the Walk Online Workouts great music, I am editing less than I used to edit.
I have stopped using dvds, preferring the convenience of streaming.

That's about all.
(hoping my health improves when the country gets rid of its anxiety producing Liar-in-Chief)

All Star Workouts

If you have a cable provider, you can sign in and have access to the All Star workouts.

https://www.discoverylife.com/tv-shows/all-star-workouts/

I restarted my WalkingOnlineWorkouts subscription after skipping a month to do other routines and am hoping there will be a new weekly 30 minute routine most weeks instead of a biweekly hour routine which did not motivate me to keep the monthly subscription.

Also I started revisiting SHINE but use the speaker enhancement option of voice cancellation to have less WHOOing.

The Incompetent and Uncaring UI

The UI (Useless Idiot) is incompetent and soulless. He does not understand policy and refuses to learn because he simply does not care. He does campaign rallies to promote hate and division and ignores human rights issues. Over 4000 deaths in Puerto Rico and orphaned children who have a living relative will be his legacy along with pollution and loss of international allies. He has ended most deals, made no new deals and lies and lies and lies. Eventually his decisions will backfire and ruin our thriving economy. Putin's UI has damaged democracies better than Putin could have ever imagined.

About the restaurant thing ... early in the campaign, I was at a restaurant near a table with two men who were loudly attacking Hillary Clinton.
I did not enjoy my meal and have not returned.
I believe restaurants have the right to not serve a racist party and to protect their other customers and employees, just as other businesses have asked loud racist customers to leave.
Our society is divided because of the Liar-in-Chief and I would prefer to spend my time and money in places where I feel comfortable. I do not want to be around these liars and dividers, just as they, perhaps, should choose businesses that support their lies and propaganda where they would feel comfortable.
If you want to treat immigrants as criminals, best learn to eat at home. Most restaurants in my area employ and serve lots of immigrants.

I did some research and if people bother to vote, we can reverse the tRUMP cult direction in spite of gerrymandering and Russian propaganda. In 2016, there were 55 million GOP registered voters, 72 million Dem and 42 million other. Since then, the GOP has seen party affiliation decrease.

It will take years, even decades to undo the damage the Russian Useless Idiot has done to our country.
he went from being Russia's Useless Idiot to Russia's Dangerous Idiot in less than 2 years.
Our credibility has been damaged internationally. The economic effect has not taken effect yet and sadly, the next administration will inherit an economic mess. Hopefully, the hate driven minority will be silenced, especially as they feel the economic results of their folly.

So some people prefer preventing Choice in a few states to keeping other Democracies as allies and trading partners or keeping families together who are seeking asylum or stopping crazy people from getting guns, even assault rifles?

SMILE

SMILE is low impact exercise for everyone.

The SMILE youtube channel has some nice walking videos
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3wm6Rex4kcvOVpqxNHeAqg

Recently Gina  started a nice weekly series
Session 1 from the first week is just 5 minutes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qz94HJYjdk

Each biweekly session adds another 5 minutes

The moves are easy to follow and she uses decent music.
The routines even work well when sitting on a chair or bouncing on a rebounder with just alittle tweaking,

DVDS can be purchased on http://www.spreadthesmile.com.au
(She also has a few dvds on Amazon)

Nepotism

I know political nepotism is everywhere.

When a teenager in collage, I lost my town summer playground job when my parents had the wrong political party sign on our lawn.  It did not matter how well I did the job in the previous summers.
Even before that, a change in our township committee ended our summer pool swim team which was very popular.   Ironically, the daughter of the man responsible for ending the swim team won our summer playground camp swim races the next summer and would have been a star if the swim team had continued.

Dictators, being more powerful, will be even worse than local politicians when it comes to their special interests.   To see our checks and balances failing so much and enabling the Useless Idiot (UI) to become so powerful in our democracy is still impossible to imagine, even though it is happening.

I, truly, believe the majority of the USA are good people with a moral compass but it is getting harder and harder to remember that as this administration without a moral compass can do whatever, whenever with no restrictions.    I doubt our country will fully recover in my lifetime which makes not having any grandchildren a silver lining.
Sad that the UI's grandchildren will have to live with his legacy.

Stamina Ovals?

The Stamina Oval Fitness Trampoline is a band rebounder which is much cheaper than bungee rebounders.
$50 on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Stamina-35-1691-Oval-Fitness-Trampoline/dp/B07143GK11
https://vimeo.com/220353905

Stamina Oval Intone Jogger
$75 on Amazon with a handlebar
https://www.amazon.com/Stamina-35-1699-InTone-Oval-Jogger/dp/B008S8XMYC
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDow12pXmI0

My b bOUNDER is a band rebounder and works fine for me since I am more of a healthbouncer.  Previously, I preferred my larger band yogflex rebounder to a spring ReboundAIR. The Yogflex bands wore out after several years and it was no longer sold.  There was a similar band BodyBurner but it was much stiffer.
.

To make this even more confusing I found a more expensive bungee model with arched legs LOL
https://www.amazon.com/Stamina-Intone-Fitness-Trampoline-Workout/dp/B01JH4BLCK
https://vimeo.com/171468545
(one review claimed the cord broke way too soon and another said the center was too soft so I would go with the large Leaps and Rebounds before this model)

Another WOW Shout Out

(I have not received any freebies from this subscription and currently have a monthly subscription)

Almost every morning for over 2 months I have been doing 30 minutes of a WOW (WalkingOnlineWorkouts) streaming subscription and loving it.  I will probably never visit many of my edited videos because these have everything I need for moving to music.
There are lots of move variations, tunes, and scenery.
All have great quality.
The simple to follow moves can be tweaked upwards or downwards in intensity for bouncing on a bungee or sitting in a chair.

There are youtube samples of the full length WOW VHX streaming routines on the WOW youtube channel as well as the Dance Faith Fitness youtube channel.

For example, I finished this WOW today:

New Bungee in the US

SkyBound Nimbus
https://www.skyboundusa.com/collections/nimbus-fitness-rebounder-trampoline
which looks similar to a JumpSport but with straight legs.
Walmart sells it for the same price without a handlebar but Skybound offers a nice discount code which may be temporary.

2 youtube vids from Skybound:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ3C6QMf8gI

They use the pounding into the mat style which is not my preference.
However, this style is similar to Body by Simone and Lekfit.

Personally,I would prefer the larger Leaps and Rebounds model if I were in the market for a bungee.

A Year Later

I started seeing an expensive chiropractor who specialized in neuropathy almost a year ago but have not been to his office since February.  I did lose 24 pounds and saw improvements in my lab blood tests but the physical ailments have not changed much with his anti-inflammatory diet, supplements and treatments which were supposed to stimulate circulation and new nerve growth.

I get through the worse days and nights with Frankincense and Myrrh rubbing oil (Neuropathy and identical compounds) and Hyland's Leg Cramp pills.

Stress is the main culprit and unfortunately, living in the US has become more and more stressful thanks to corrupt politics.

Gotta Move

I am still doing Walking Online Workouts regularly and still have not tried all of them.
Still believe it is the best streaming subscription for me.

However, I came across old youtube Gotta Move videos on my laptop and will be tossing them in as well.

(One year later and another great youtube channel was deleted probably because of music copyrights)

Personal Update

The damage done to my body by the statin Lipitor will never completely heal but I am starting to feel better now that I seem to be getting good sleep and regularity, even though weight plateaued.  Blood pressure is fine with way less brain fog and more energy so I will continue to do what seems to be working without more weight loss.  Mostly, I avoid refined carbs and overly processed foods.

Stress triggered the most severe flares during the past year so I am focusing on keeping stress at a minimum.

I believe I never would have accomplished the extra 20+ pounds I lost so quickly without trying the Neuropathy Specialist last year.  Paying out alot of cash to the Specialist motivated me to adhere to his strict diet that enabled the weight loss during the first 3 to 4 months.  Neither the office treatments nor the diet seemed to affect my neuropathy.  Stress induced some terrible flares right up to a few weeks ago.   I have not had a treatment since February and may only have one more visit if that.  Going to the office and seeing others forking over loads of cash is stressful and I seem to be doing much better on my own.   In the first couple of months, the doctor seemed to spend some time with patients but I saw him spending more and more time on potential new patients and little to no time with signed patients which was bothersome.   Being an honest person,  I cannot recommend him to others unless their medical insurance covers most of the expense.

My best discovery has been the Frankincense and Myrrh rubbing oils for Neuropathy and other nerve pain with St. John's Wort as its main active ingredient.  They are available online on Amazon and Walmart.

On a more positive note, I am absolutely loving the WalkingOnlineWorkouts subscription which I have been doing almost daily for the past 4 weeks in addition to 10 minute walks outside after each meal weather permitting. This is absolutely the best subscription I have tried.
https://walkingonlineworkouts.vhx.tv/browse

https://dailyhealthpost.com/benefits-of-walking/

ETA:
My exercise routine which is mostly gentle bouncing to music and short outdoor walks after eating seems to be affecting my pre-diabetic condition very well.
Recent blood tests show a substantial decrease in A1C and Triglycerides!
Also a substantial increase in HDL.
Blood Glucose went down but is still alittle too high, probably stress related.

Do your own research

After taking Lipitor for over a decade and ignoring its adverse effects,  I learned the hard way to do my own research and not take for granted studies done by Pharmaceutical companies and guidance from the medical community making money from my misplaced trust.

Many adults over 50 are pre-diabetic and do not even know it.

Waist to Height ratio may be a better way to measure obesity risks than the BMI and weight.
(google waist to height ratio for more info)

The ratio of Triglycerides to HDL is also a good indicator of insulin resistance.

DVDs vs Streaming vs Downloadable Video Files

I have been a collector of workout VHS, dvd and digital downloads.
Slowly but surely, I have evolved into preferring digital downloads, especially if I want to edit them for my own private use.
However, I do like streaming when the video plays without any glitches if I like its audio and moves.

People who re-sell dvds are not putting money into the pockets of the original copyright owners.
Many dvd owners rip their dvds and then sell, trade, or gift them.
(Some even clone them)
So why not enable all streams to be downloaded into digital files and owned permanently by the customer so they can be used without an internet connection?

I understand why some instructors prefer not to enable their streams to be downloaded and played without at least a protected app like the Purple Player platform but the truth is that there are many ways to download a stream into a digital file or record a stream anyway.
(There are also customers who pool their money and share expensive subscriptions)

By not enabling a download, they are probably losing more business than protecting their content.
A streaming only site that does not add enough new content to keep long term subscribers interested is not going to attract as many new long term customers.

An Old Dog Can Learn New Tricks

I recently turned 69 and have been online for almost 20 years and exercising regularly with videos for almost as long.   As much as I seem to be able to simplify complicated tech issues, I have been very resistant to change.  We were using AOL dial-up and totally skipped DSL.  Our family had nothing but one old Windows XP desk top for a decade, skipped Vista, and was late trying a Windows 7 laptop till 2011.  I clung to my exercise vhs and vcrs, never went blu ray, and only had tube tvs till 2012.  Even now we never went dvr and only have HD capability on one of our two HDTVs.  We use Tracfones and do not have an activated smart phone.

Part of it is frugality.  If it ain't broke, why fix it or spend more on something unnecessary.  My husband is tech phobic so prefers not evolving.  Changes can be stressful as well as more costly. Older folks tend to be resistant to advances in technology.  Every daylight savings day, it was a battle between my mother and mother-in-law whose vcr will have their time corrected by me first.  My Mother did not speak to me for 6 months because I did my mother-in-law's vcr before hers on that very first Sunday morning!

For almost 2 decades, I enjoyed working out every morning in our basement with my old tube tv, vcr or cheap dvd player, and cheap speaker system.  I liked working out with myself in a mirror and would just glance at the tv.
Ever so slowly because of having so many bungees in so many rooms and two laptops plugged into old pc power speakers, I started using either video files or streaming on the laptops when working out.   The bungees were at better angles with the laptops than either HD TV and I was too lazy to move furniture and connect the laptops to the tvs.  Meanwhile, I was still editing files and burning them to dvdr to use in the basement but just on laundry days.  I am using so many streaming sites that I started buying streams and downloads instead of dvds.  Recently I finally tried some dvds which were identical to a couple of my streamed downloads and was shocked to see the streams on the laptops were better than the dvds on my tube tv.

I will still use dvds on laundry day but have definitely fallen on the streaming/download side of the fence.
An Old Dog has Learned a New Trick
but still no need for a Smart Phone, dvr, or fancier bungee LOL

Just wanted to give a shout out to WalkingOnlineWorkouts.
I am loving their streaming with great music, moves, and scenery.
So glad I had transitioned to streaming so I can enjoy these!

WalkingOnlineWorkouts

I had enjoyed Dance Faith Fitness on youtube
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpJ1fR6QMdH3XI7kkbWanWw

and  more recently WalkingOnlineWorkouts on youtube
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi2HHdXBrAkWsRlZEwleUfw

MUving (moving to music) was enabled without any editing on my end.
Unfortunately, youtube made some of her background songs unavailable.

AnyWho, she then started using more current tunes instead of faith inspired tunes and created her own streaming site: Walking Online Workouts
https://walkingonlineworkouts.vhx.tv/browse

She offers a free 7 day trial then charges ~$10 a month with the promise of adding 4 hour long walks each month.   I recently started my free trial and am loving it!

Most moves are bungee friendly and easily tweaked to bouncing.
Best part is no Whooing, just great music and wonderful scenery..
The site bookmarks where a workout was stopped so you can easily resume where you left off.

There is also a VHX app.

Physical Activity helps cleansing, it brings balance and relieves stress. Psycho-physical activities will help you balance your body and will help you relief accumulated stress. You will have to find a form of exercise that suit you. I will just give you a few examples:

It's my Birthday and I will cry if want to

but I refuse to cry on my birthday.

Younger son's birthday was Weds and today it is mine.
The day inbetween (yesterday)  was a downer.

Lots of small things contributed to the down mood.
One in particular is the disappointment in our older son and his disinterest in his family.
However, I have much to be thankful for because my husband and younger son would go to Hell and back to make me happy, as I would do for all three.
I gave up on getting any reciprocal  support from our older son long ago but still slide every now and then.

Anywho,  I stopped myself from sinking down the rabbit's hole of depression after a short pity party.

I never know from day-to-day how I will physically feel.
One thing I have learned is that exercising to music is my magic bullet.
If something hurts, I modify but keep MUving.
Using pain or a lack of energy as an excuse has never stopped me.
More often than not, I usually feel much better afterwards.

Ended my birthday on a high after deciding to purchase a year of the BollyX Premium membership after a sweet friend sent me BollyX gift cards.  These moves and music just make me smile.

High Cholesterol Beneficial for Women

The Deep State

Don-the-Con seems paranoid about a *Deep State*.

Actually, the majority of Americans know he is incompetent, corrupt, narcissistic, and mean without a moral compass.  Of course, this majority want him gone.  He is ruining the psyche of our country and the respect for our institutions.

The *Deep State* is not hidden or deep.
It is the majority of Americans who know he does not have the right stuff.

Current Workout Favorites

I still bounce daily to edited files with music only.
Currently, I am focusing on edited purBounce files by German instructors, some originals of which are on the youtube WellShaped TV channel   Also once or twice a week, I do a youtube routine found on ShirlinaFit.

Second part of my daily workout has been mostly either Misty Tripoli or Nia.
I break up the longer NiaTV routines and am currently in the middle of their newest Community event routine Wild and enjoying the two instructors, especially since I burnt out on Debbie Rosas even before Carlos retired.  Once or twice a week I do a single weight or slider weight cardio-core routine like a ThunderBell or Axion Core instead of dance.

During the day, I either take a few 10 minute outdoor walks or do an indoor walk or dance while gently bouncing or sitting on a swivel chair, sometimes holding a band or fitstix.

I am enjoying all of the above with no feeling of dread and seem to have much more energy and less pain.

ETA:
had to share this 40 min BounceFit video
https://youtu.be/J8ys7HXRyA0
offers good music and moves

Also recently purchased the streaming of Strong by Zumba on Amazon and am loving it.

BollyX has gifted registered emails with a premium membership for free till the end of April.

jessicasmithtv

I love the free Jessica Smith videos on youtube but prefer to play my own music.
This one in particular is very good on a bungee:

I do the first 20 to 30 minutes on my feet then the rest while sitting in a chair.

Shirlina and Leaps&Rebounds Bungee

I just did Day 1 with Shirlina and and will do more of them!
Her Shirlina.fit youtube channel has all of her rebounder routines.

Her newer routines are done on a large Leaps & Rebounds bungee which is very reasonably priced on Amazon.
Its bounce seemed identical to my PROBounce bungee.
Each move is listed and counted down for 20 seconds followed by a 10 second rest.
There are 5 circuits and the moves are varied.
Whole workout is about 20 minutes.
She plays decent music but you can mute and play your own.

This is the playlist I will be doing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppkB7jH8qok&list=PL0EFxpvVwcsxhBuoX5j1M_mm5X0pfL4mJ

You can also get a file that visually lists her routines for free on her website for traveling or doing your ow thing with your own music.

The Blue Wave

The Blue Wave is building and becoming a Blue Tidal Wave and by November will be a Blue Tsunami.

Why?
Every day words and behavior by tRUMP and his sycophants are making every person with a  moral compass more and more outraged.  People like me who believe in equality and mostly ignored Washington are now listening and watching.  Previously, the only political issue that had affected me strongly was equal rights for LGBTQ or the larger underlying issue of keeping civil rights protected from extremist religious BS.

Everyday I hear lies and see really biased and un-American behavior.
Anyone who had hoped the Narcissist would bring positive changes to our country after a very nasty campaign now realizes that everything he does divides and that nasty campaigning is all he does.
He is incompetent and an embarrassment.  His destruction to our social and news media, intelligence agencies, international relationships, environment, and overall psyche of the country may never be fully repaired.  Personally, he has created more stress and anxiety than my body could handle.

Besides the Deplorables who will never change, there were many who were brain washed by Russian and GOP propaganda who are waking up.    The Blue Wave is building but I hope it does not wipe out a moderate political atmosphere where minorities are protected and an intelligent caring majority in Congress are not driven by the extremists from either side.

Legislature should support ALL of the People fairly, not special interests.
Common Sense must prevail.

Wake Up America!

Why did the Russians want to undermine Clinton?

Why does our POTDS (President of the Divided States) call the Russian investigation a witch hunt?

Why has he not enacted the Russian sanctions passed by Congress?

Why does he attack every person except Putin?

Why is he more loyal to Putin than anyone else, including Melania?

Why is he still helping Russia with hateful rhetoric, spreading their propaganda, and chaos?

Is he a treasonous traitor and/or an extremely incompetent Narcissist?

(I do not know whether to feel sorrier for the Russian people who are stuck with Putin or the American people who are stuck with the POTDS.)

Comparing him to fairy tale characters:

He is the living embodiment of the Emperor who wore no clothes.

Similar to the Pinocchio theme: the more he lies. the more our noses smell his stink.

Unlike Beauty and the Beast, no Beauty can change him back into a human being.

He is the reverse of Robin Hood, stealing from the Poor to give to the Rich

He is the reverse of King Midas, everything he touches turns to $hit.

(Please let Mueller become our hero knight on a white horse.)

ETA 2/23:
Think about it. Polls are totally in favor of common sense gun restrictions. You have NRA spokespeople attacking the FBI and everyone else who support common sense changes. Then you have the gun nuts threatening survivors and the loved ones of victims who speak out against a weapon of war (or making fun of them like like the First Son) . And our POTDS, continuing to divide the States and wanting armed teachers?????? This is the jerk who makes our major decisions. Think about it and VOTE,VOTE, VOTE.
November cannot arrive fast enough.

Misty Tripoli Dance your Heart Out

Misty Tripoli has a new series called
*Dance your Heart Out*

It is similar to Delicious Dance but I like the new music much more.
When the DVDs become available, they will cost $39 but for now you can get the streaming for $29 and just pay ~$4 for shipping and handling for the DVDs after they become available.

There are 5 different routines with 6 tunes each for a total of 30 tunes plus a Self Care Session.
All 6 routines and each individual tune can be streamed

go to the streaming video tab for more information about both series
https://www.bodygroove.com

or
https://www.bodygroove.com/pages/dance-your-heart-out-streaming-video-collection-1
for more info about Dance Your Heart Out

If you like to get into the music and explore what makes your body feel good, this series is amazing.

If you prefer to follow the leader, skip it.

What is on my mind today

Compare the fuss about Clinton's emails to the red flagged people with access to the White House classified briefings, including the Con-in-Chief who would never pass a background check and who has crossed many confidential red lines with unfriendly countries. The same *PRO Life* people who want to take the right of choice away continue to enable assault weapons for mentally unstable people. The Abortion rate has declined while mass shooting rate has exploded. The Con-in-Chief is only interested in preventing the immigration of Muslims and other minority immigrants and is not bothering to investigate homegrown terrorists. He is using hate and fear to divide the country instead of using decency to unite the country.

Will America ever be as great as it once was again?

ETA on Feb 17:
Long before Russian trolls were exposed, I knew most of the negative feelings towards Clinton and positive feelings for the Divider-in-Chief were irrational. Whenever I saw one of these irrational posts, I would block the person who posted. I never bothered to argue or reason with an irrational person. These people wanted to believe and spread Russian propaganda instead of being a compassionate caring American which to me is what made a Democratic America great. I am ashamed so many drank this Kool Aid and hope the damage done to our country and the planet, physically and emotionally, can be reversed but doubt I will live long enough to die peacefully.

Russia won this battle and probably the war.

Cheaper Bungee Rebounders

Cheaper bungees are compared on
http://bungeereboundersreviewed.com/
Some on his site are not available.

Unfortunately my favorite larger 2 bungees are no longer available from China.
However, it seems like there are some cheap alternatives worth a try.

This may be the closest model to my round PROBounce:
https://leapsandrebounds.com/products/bungee-rebounders-mini-trampoline?variant=21179895617

https://www.amazon.com/Leaps-Rebounds-Bungee-Rebounder-Home/dp/B01ICPFREI?th=1&psc=1

(It may also be available through the review site above with additional cord tension options for a few more bucks plus $40 back for a video review)

The newest Merax hexagon with arched legs and already attached mat looks like a great option:

Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Merax-Exercise-Fitness-Trampoline-Training/dp/B072BCDRP8

Walmart
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Merax-Fitness-4-5-Foot-Trampoline-with-Handle-Bar-Orange/55455725

The Stamina Oval Fitness Trampoline is sold in many stores and may be a good option
There is also a Stamina Oval Jogger.
I am not sure about their differences in prices and sizes.

Frankincense Myrrh Neuopathy

Finally found a product that is easing my neuropathy!

Frankincense Myrrh Neuropathy rubbing oil gave me instant relief.
I am looking forward to applying more tonight before bed.

I mostly tried it because St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) applied topically is supposed to calm nerves and am hoping it will eventually have a healing effect too.  For now the relief is immediate but mostly temporary.

ETA March 2018:
I believe my nerves are healing slowly but surely!
It may be a combination of my treatments and Neuropathy rubbing Oil.

Another Hexagon recommendation

I have not tried this one myself and suspect my Chinese hexagon has a looser bounce.
However, the reviews are pretty good and the price very reasonable.

Merax Exercise Fitness Trampoline Home Workout Cardio Training

https://www.amazon.com/Merax-Exercise-Fitness-Trampoline-Training/dp/B072BCDRP8
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Merax-Fitness-4-5-Foot-Trampoline-with-Handle-Bar-Orange/55455725

This newer version has a single roped cord already attached and arched legs for more stability.
It may be larger than the previous version which is still sold cheaper at stores like Walmart.

Also found this on youtube

Khoantum
another cheaper version of a Bellicon but has folding legs!
will investigate this and others

Leslie Sansone and MUsic

I have been visiting Leslie Sansone Walks more since subscribing to the Walk-at-Home monthly series.  The website also enables streaming any of the monthly routines without installing the app.  I do own most of the dvds already but find this website and app much more appealing than setting up a dvd.  Plus the website has offered 4 of the new walk 15 routines although 2 have also been released on youtube so I may continue the subscription after the free trial.

I have also edited most of the dvds to have music only.
When streaming a walk, I can mute it and play my own music if I do not want the cuing.
I really enjoy the dancing that Michael does in the background of some walks so watch him and add my own tweaks.  Most moves are easy to follow without cuing and most can be modified to higher or lower intensity.

This article emphasizes the importance of walking:
http://bjsm.bmj.com/content/51/15/1111?hootPostID=20076ba466155cbd236078d951086097If

Just 20 minutes a day of brisk walking and healthier food choices can prevent inflammation which causes Coronary Heart Disease and insulin resistance.

still a free trial on Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home Daily Walk

Article about Strength Training for Cancer Patients

A blog reader requested that I share this article:
https://mesothelioma.net/top-5-benefits-strength-training-exercise-cancer-patients/

Just as there are diet debates, there are exercise debates.
The best exercise you can do is what you will do
Find what feels good and keep moving (or in my case, bouncing)
